Q. How does the EasiTrack system work?

EasiTrack collects GPS location and other data using a small hardware device installed in your vehicle(s). The information is sent frequently over a secure cellular data network to our network operations center where the data is processed and sent over the internet to your online Web Based Account. From there, you may view your vehicles’ location, set up and receive alerts on activities, build reports on historical activity, and much more.

Q. Can I view my vehicles from any internet enabled computer?

Yes, EasiTrack's System is web based meaning you only need to have an internet connected computer to access the software. A mobile site is also available for Smartphone users to gain access on the go!

Q. Will I receive free software upgrades?

Yes, since the software is web based all maintenance and upgrades are done seamlessly without the hassle of downloading software or inserting a CD. This includes map upgrades and feature enhancements.

Q. Is the device visible once installed?

No, devices are traditionally installed covertly in a secure location in the vehicle. Usually underneath the dashboard or behind an access panel in the vehicle. Locations may vary depending on your vehicles’ year, make and model.

Q. Is this a satellite based vehicle tracking system?

Yes, location data is obtained using GPS satellites and then transmitted back to our servers over secure cellular data networks.

Q. What if the vehicle is out of a cellular area?

Location and other data is collected via GPS satellites which covers the globe. If the device is outside of cellular service it will store and then forward data. This means that nothing is ever lost if outside of coverage.

Q. Does your tracking system run in real time?

Yes, units can update as frequently as 1 minute when they are moving.

Q. What is the return on investment?

There are a lot of ways our clients see a return on their investment. Q. How quickly can I get the devices and services?

Typically we can ship your order the next business day. Devices are sent activated and ready to go. Your account is set up prior to the units arriving so that when the units are installed the system is immediately ready.

Q. How are these devices installed?

Installations can be performed by any car stereo, car alarm, or aftermarket installation company. We can assist you in choosing a firm to do the installations. Detailed installation documentation is also provided.

Q. Can I install it myself?

A lot of our customers find that they can do the installations themselves. There is also an easy install kit that plugs in to the OBDII port of the vehicle eliminating the need of tapping into a power and ignition source. contact us for more details.
